The Richard Neate Touch Plate and two others of unknown origin is a 36 page A4 sized booklet that draws together nearly 200 fake marks used in the second quarter of the 20th century by London fakers and fraudsters to mark reproduction, fake and occasionally genuine old pewter items with the intention of deceiving the buyer. Published by the Pewter Society in 1996.
