A brass and copper measure made in the form of a coopered vessel with a pair of handles extending above the rim. The inner sides and base painted with the original red paint. The most striking feature is the series of stamped initials to the inside base. As well as 15 / 3 over 1887, which is assumed to be a date, there are centrally 'A.T' and 'T.B', with 'T.T', 'M.T', 'PT', 'G.T', 'N.T' and 'S.T. circumferentially. Capacity is 7¼ fl oz. 2⅜" to top of handles, and 1⅞" to rim, with 3⅝ " mouth and 3" base diameters. 216g weight. In excellent condition. REF: C3911
