Unusual form of small pewter mug/measure with unidentified marks to right of handle, which are a crown over VI above 6, with a separate armorial device. The form of handle and tapered shape of the body suggest an 18th rather than 19th century dating. The body with two pairs of incised lines near the rim and base. In excellent condition, with light-medium grey original surface patina. Heavily cast. Capacity is 1 fl oz. 1¾” high, with 1½” diameter base. 104g weight. REF: C829
