18th century Dutch pewter mustard pot made by an unidentified maker, his initialled Angel mark under the foot. Hinged dome lid with knop, cut-out for spoon, and shell thumbpiece. Ownership initials ‘DH’ on handle back. In good condition except for a casting defect that has caused a crack to the right of the handle. Lovely turning lines under the base. 5¼” overall height, and 2¾” foot diameter. 253g weight. REF: C61/05
