Spouted dome-lid ‘droopy’ body tankard by Susannah Cocks, London c1820-47 her three hallmarks to left of double curve handle with 5-lug hinge, and fishtail terminal. Low double-dome lid with open chairback thumbpiece. Nice detailing to multi reeded pedestal base, and handle attachments to body. In excellent condition, with medium-light grey original surface patina. Capacity is 40.6 fl oz. 7¾” overall height, 5⅞” to rim, with 4⅝” base diameter. 1066g weight. REF: P434
