Ale ½-pint beaker decorated all over with engraving and wrigglework. No maker's or other marks, but probably English dating from early 19th century. Ownership initials 'IN' in simple lettering, and 'IBW' within a cartouche formed like a collar. It is possible some of the decoration was done in North America (Pennsylvania?) as the initialling could be considered to be in the American style. In excellent condition, with a bright polished surface. Capacity is 10.2 fl oz capacity. 3¾” tall, with 2⅛" base diameter. REF: P1744
