English pewter mustard pot with spoon c1850-70


Attractive version of a lidded English pewter mustard pot unmarked but possibly by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, and dating to the mid-Victorian era. The pot has a flat base, double-curve handle, double dome-lid with finial, and a slot in the rim for the mustard spoon. In excellent condition, with medium-grey original surface patina. 3⅜" overall height, with 2¾" base diameter. The spoon is 3½" long. 241g weight with spoon. REF: C3586
