Matching pair of 19th century English pewter chalices. No maker's mark. Dating is likely early to mid-century from the form, and workmanship. Short relatively broad cups, with stem having a knop midway. The foot could be made from a double dome tankard lid mould. In good condition, with medium-light grey original surface patina. 7½" tall, with 3⅝”” mouth and 3¾” base diameter. 539g weight each. REF: C3722
