Matching pair of 18th century English pewter chalices. No maker's mark. Dating is likely end of century from the form, and degree of workmanship. Tall relatively narrow cups, with stem having a fillet midway. The foot could be made from a double dome tankard lid mould. In excellent condition, with medium-light grey original surface patina. 8¼" tall, with 3¾” mouth and 4⅛" base diameter. 574g weight each. REF: C3718
