Rare very extensively decorated oval teapot stand by James Vickers, Sheffield c1760-1800 his earlier mark struck under base. An elegant stand in early neoclassic style, with well executed bright cut engraved borders and central cartouche having ownership initials AEK. Bouge has geometric and foliate designs, and outer edge more simple geometric designs. Four feet with linear ribs. In excellent condition, with medium-grey original surface patina. 1” tall by 6⅞” long and 5¼” wide. 188g weight.  REF: C3272
