Scarce mid-18th century German pewter Judaica dinner plate to celebrate Passover seder by an unidentified pewterer whose triple struck touchmarks are on the reverse. These plates were decorated at the time of manufacture for Hebrew religious use. The central geometric 8-petal star design is a typical feature of such plates, as is the Hebrew script around the rim. 8¾” diameter. In very good condition, with a lustrous polished surface showing some minor scratches. REF: P2019
