Pint and ½-pint footed cups both probably made in Birmingham, although only the smaller with the maker's mark of T & J Birch (1862-65) below the rim to right of the distinctive form of handle seen on these Victorian vessels. Both with Birmingham capacity/verification marks. The pint with feint engraved ownership initials to front of body in a cartouche. In very good condition, with medium-grey original surface patina. Capacity is 10 and 20 fl oz. 5¾" and 4½” tall respectively, with 3¼" and 2¾” base diameters. 277 & 455g weight. REF: C3658 & 3659.
