Used example of the very rare ½-gill size of double volute baluster measure lacking a maker's mark . The body with three pairs of incised lines: at rim, mid-body, and above foot. The flat lid with two incised lines and double volute thumbpiece. The ball terminal handle with lozenge strut attachment. In used condition, with medium-light grey original surface patina with oxide shading. 3¼” overall height, with 1½” base diameter.
